Korean Food-Gimbop (김밥)
Ingredients for 10 kids
-Fermented Raddish
-Baby Spinach (optional)
-Ham
-Egg(mixed/stirred)
-roasted seaweed (Bibigo)
-sliced and fried carrot (with salt)
-sweetened water
Step1 Sweetend Water
Boil 6 table spoons of white vinegar
+ 5 table spoons of sugar.
When sugar is melted, turn off the stove.
Put small piece of dashi and rest it to cool down.
Once cooled, add water according to your appetite.
Mix this sweetened water to rice. This is to keep the rice moisturised and also to give sweet and sour flavour.
Step 2
Cut roasted seaweed in half (vertical).
Step 3
Spread rice as thin as possible and upto half of the seaweed.
Step 4
Add appropriate portion of ingredients
Step 5
It’s not roll but to press.
Press down the seaweed per roll then at the end paste some water so that it sticks.
